WHY RESTORATION OF BIODIVERSITY IS IMPORTANT TO FARMING

Odonata is a not-for-profit social enterprise demonstrating the economic benefits of investing in biodiversity. Their vision is to see a world where nature, people and the economy thrive together in harmony – food is plentiful, our air, water and land are clean and healthy, and wildlife is in abundance.

Through years of practical on ground experience, Odonata have learned that reintroducing native animals into farms can play an important role in supporting sustainable agriculture. This helps to improve drought resilience, manage pests, reduce input costs and improve productive values.

Their aim is to build upon and share this knowledge. They hope to use it to create, support, nurture and empower businesses and entrepreneurs to move towards a more environmentally sustainable world.
